Atalantis Hellenic Brewery, known as eza, was founded in 1989 and stands as Greece's largest independent beer producer. Located in Atalanti Fthiotida, our modern facility is a driving force for development in the region. With a production capacity exceeding 80,000,000 liters annually, we prioritize sustainability and quality, using premium raw materials like Parnassos spring water, select barley, and aromatic hops. Our brands, including Pils Hellas, eza Premium Pilsener, and Blue Island Mediterranean Beer, are renowned in both Greek and global markets. The history of "Kalnapilis" dates back to 1902, when Alberts Foight, a German landlord, brewed the inaugural batch of beer in the "Bergschlösschen" brewery situated in Panevėžys, the heart of Aukštaitia renowned for its brewing heritage. The name "Bergschlösschen" translated to "Pilaite on the hill" in the founder's native language, reflecting the brewery's unique location atop a high hill, nestled in an empty field along the Nevėžys coast.

Beer holds the esteemed title of the most popular alcoholic beverage globally, ranking third overall after water and tea. With origins dating back 9,500 years, beer stands as one of humanity's oldest libations, with the earliest records traced to ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. The craft of brewing spread across Europe some 3000 years ago, courtesy of Germanic and Celtic tribes. Gambrinus, the legendary King of Flanders, is hailed as the unofficial patron saint of beer brewing, with beer enthusiasts commemorating his supposed birthday on April 11th. However, the true identity of Gambrinus remains shrouded in historical ambiguity, with various medieval figures vying for the title. While our ancestors' brews differed significantly from modern beer, the timeless allure of this beloved beverage endures through the ages.

Volfas Engelman, situated in Kaunas, Lithuania, traces its brewing heritage back to the 19th century and has been a part of the Olvi Group since 1999. Under the leadership of CEO Marius Horbačauskas since 2012, the brewery has diversified its offerings beyond beer to include cider, alcoholic mixed drinks, kvass, and energy drinks. Named after its founders, Volfas Engelman stands as the second largest brewery in Lithuania, boasting a workforce of over 250 employees.
